Endowed with unmatchable intellect, Mrs. Manveen Sandhu was a woman of substance, a magnificent light to ignite many. She was a rich amalgamation of virtues as sagacity, erudition, perseverance and resilience. Her contributions towards the field of education are varied and immense.
With her tremendous power of creativity and innovation, she redefined the meaning of education. Not only did she explore and experiment but also implemented new methods and techniques beneficial for children. Her implementation of Howard Gardner’s theory of Multiple Intelligence into the system of education tapped the hidden talents of students and reinforced their holistic growth.
As a great admirer of Music, Art and Culture, she left no stone unturned to promote the same through SPICAMACAY and Punarjyot and hence acted as a binding force. She thus became instrumental in ensuring universal brotherhood and global peace.
‘Sense shines with a double lustre if set in humility.’ Humility, compassion and kindness are the other virtues that she was blessed with. She went a step ahead in helping the poor and downtrodden and hence brought smile on many faces. Her endeavours to organize social sensitization projects with the main stream education are praiseworthy.
Mrs. Manveen Sandhu was a progressive woman, much ahead of her times, a leader far more visionary. The rich legacy of values she has left with will become a guiding force for posterity.
