Ms Neeti Talwar is
the Department Head, Davinderpal Centre for Creative Arts of Spring Dale
Senior School, which she herself had helped establish. A Post
Graduate in History of Art from Punjab University, Chandigarh, she
has been working in the Art Department of the School since 2000. She
is presently teaching Commercial Art to students of XI and XII
student appearing for CBSE.
Responsible for showcasing the school’s
artistic talent through the annual exhibition titled INNOVATUS, Ms Talwar also
works hard at providing creative support to all the events organized
by institution. She has conducted and attended workshops with
nationally acclaimed calligraphist/artist Anees Siddhiqui and Sham
Prasad, a famous Sculptor and Potter besides attending CAMLIN
workshops.
Possessing deep interest in folk,
traditional art forms, Ms Talwar is also closely associated with
Society for Promotion of Indian Classical Music And Culture Amongst
Youth (SPICMACAY) and has attended their national
conventions regularly. She was awarded the Best Teacher award in
2005.
