Ms. Rajwant Kaur Labana Ms Rajwant Kaur Labana is the Director of the Sports Department of Spring Dale Senior School. An MA in Physical Education from Guru Nanak Dev University, Ms Labana has been associated with the school since 2004. The school’s sports stars receive expert training under her tutelage and have won laurels for the institution in national and international level sports events.
Prior to joining Spring Dales, Ms Labana was a lecturer of Physical Education in SD College, Hoshiarpur. She is a national level hockey player and was a member of Punjab Hockey team in 1993 and 1994, besides being the Captain of the Hockey team of Guru Nanak Dev University in 1993. She is also a known face in the international sporting arena as she represented Junior India Hockey Team in Moscow in 1993.
Being an outstanding sports person, Ms Labana was awarded certificate for outstanding performance in Hockey by GNDU in 1995 and a roll of honour by Punjab government in 1993. A believer in the enhancement of her skills, she has attended various workshops and training programmes including a week-long course in High Altitude Trekking Programme held in Himachal Pradesh in 1994, besides a workshop on multiple intelligences by Ms. Margaret Warner, and a workshop on Total Quality Management by Mr. Senthil Kumar.
