Ms. Sukhraj Sandhu Ms Sukhraj Sandhu is the
coordinator of Social Science for the Middle School as well as coordinator of competitive exams at Spring Dale Senior School. An MA, B.Ed by qualification, her association with the School dates back to 1994, when she started working as an English Teacher for classes VI and VII. She has served the school in various capacities including General Awareness and Social Sciences teacher and coordinator, coordinator of excursions, resource person for social science books.
Ms Sandhu deserves credit for starting the Olympiads in the school in 2000 and handling them till date. She was decorated with Sarvapalli Radhakrishna Award for Excellence twice and was honoured by the Science Olympiad Foundation, awarded national level best coordinator award by National Science Olympiad, received a certificate of excellence for being a member of the winning company ‘Rockdonnell’ in the fourth Annual Regional Space Settlement Design Competition in 2008.
To improve her teaching skills further she has attended various workshops including CBSE’s Teacher Orientation Programme on Disaster Management, National Teacher’s Training Workshop for Heritage Education and Communication Service by INTACH in 2002, Teacher’s Training Workshop for Creative and Dramatic way of learning at Doon School, Dehradun in 2008, besides a workshop on Heritage Clubs in schools and Multiple Intelligences by Ms Margaret Warner.
