There are several drug addicts whose families have suffered badly. The major focus of our project is to provide assistance to children of such drug addicts in the area of Maqboolpura. This region in the Amritsar district was infamously called “the locality of widows” because of the enormous number of deaths due to drug infections.
“Umeed” aims to help the NGO naming Citizens’ forum Vidya Mandir so that the children and widows of the drug addicts could finally witness life and succeed by achieving something.
